For the second consecutive season, Chamberlain earned second place as a team in the Class A girls state cross country meet on Saturday at Broadland Creek Golf Course.
“I’ve been working on this for as long as I can remember it,” Schroeder said. “There were just a lot of emotions as I crossed that line.”

Burke topped the girls team standings, while FAM nabbed the boys title. The Mitchell Christian boys team also qualified for the state meet with a runner-up finish, while the Gregory boys and girls teams qualified with top-three finishes.
