The Mitchell Parks and Recreation Department will host a track meet on June 30 for area youth at the DWU/Avera Sports and Wellness Complex's Corrigan Fieldhouse. The meet is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The event is free for youth who have been part of the DWU Youth Track and Field Camp, which began May 31. Area youth who are not in the program and are ages 8-13 may participate for a $10 fee.
Participants must be registered by noon Tuesday. Applicants can register at dwuathletics.com under the track and field camps page. For more information, contact the Mitchell Parks and Recreation Department at 995-8450.
