Trystan Traupel (106), Owen Schmidt (113), Dakota Buck (120), Dylan McGregor (126), Jackson Remmers (132), Alexis Bryant (138), Kade Grocott (170), Elliott Chase (285), Jacobi Krouse (182) and Austin Hoiten (195) all picked up wins for the Fighting Cougars.

For Marion/Freeman, Tim Epp (145), Owen Eitenmiller (152), Ethan Ortman (160) and Clayton Smith (220) each notched a win.

Wagner narrowly fell to Beresford, 42-36. For the Red Raiders, Gannon Knebel (152), Rim Bouza (170), Nolan Dvorak (182), Karstyn Lhotak (106), Jhett Breen (120), Bradyn Lhotak (138) and Riley Roberts (145) all picked up victories.

Howard goes 1-1 in Canton

CANTON -- Howard wrestling split a pair of matches on Tuesday. It took down Chester Area (66-6), but lost to Vermillion (34-31).

The Tigers had multiple wrestlers pick up two wins. Kaden Hofer (220), Karsten Hamilton (126), Riley Genzlinger (132), Lane Miller (145) and John Callies (152) all went 2-0.

Against Chester Area, Tate Miller (106), Trent Feldhaus (113), Karsyn Feldhaus (120), Calvin Halverson (120) and Ty Beyer (160) all won via pin. William Rentz also earned a win, while Jack Neises (145) pinned his Vermillion opponent.

Parkston picks up two wins at home triangular

PARKSTON -- Parkston topped Garretson (42-30) and Sioux Falls Lincoln (40-36) at its home triangular on Tuesday.

Against Lincoln, Parkston’s Wyatt Anderson picked up a 14-0 major decision to break a 36-36 tie, giving the Trojans the win.

Landon Sudbeck (132), Logan Heidinger (182) and Gavin Braun (106) each earned pins for the Trojans.

Against Garretson, Sudbeck and Lane Johnson (195) picked up pins in their matches.

Porter Neugebauer (126) and Kolter Kramer (152) each won by decisions.

WSWWW earned two wins at Miller/Highmore-Harrold Triangular

HIGHMORE -- Wessington Springs/Woonsocket/Wolsey-Wessington picked up a pair of convincing wins at the Miller/Highmore-Harrold Triangular on Tuesday. WSWWW defeated Sunshine Bible Academy (72-3) and Miller/Highmore-Harrold (56-10).

Against SBA, Carter Giakowski (152 pounds) and Carter Grohs (160) pinned their opponents, while the rest of the matches were won via forfeit.

Against Miller/Highmore-Harrold, Keegan Haider picked up an 8-1 decision in his 152-pound match. Eric Klanchnik (170), Tyson Eddy (138) and Brayden Labore (145) earned pins. Joey Hoverson (132) picked up a technical fall victory.
