Dakota Wesleyan University’s Alyssa Weidler is the Great Plains Athletic Conference women’s soccer offensive player of the week.
A senior from Sioux Falls, Weidler made history in a 6-2 victory over Mount Marty College as she scored two goals and recorded an assist. Her two goals gave her the most career goals scored in Dakota Wesleyan program history as she now has 39 career goals. She has seven goals this season.
Dakota Wesleyan University (7-2, 5-2 GPAC) hosts Jamestown University at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex.
