Dakota Wesleyan University’s Alyssa Weidler was named the Great Plains Athletic Conference women’s offensive soccer player of the week.
The senior scored a hat trick in DWU’s 3-2 win over Hastings (Neb.) on Saturday. She has five goals on the season, and is four goals from tying the record for goals in a career at DWU.
The Tigers (3-0) play the College of St. Mary at 11 a.m. Saturday in Omaha, Nebraska.
