Wagner's Ali Kuca announced she signed with Mount Marty to play women's basketball for the Lancers on Thursday.
Kuca, a 5-foot-9 basketball and volleyball standout, averaged 19 points, to go with nine rebounds, three assists and two steals per game as a junior last year. Kuca was second team Class A all-state as a junior and third team all-state as a sophomore.
"We have always been very impressed with her toughness on and off the basketball court, and her ability to score the basketball from both behind the three-point line and in the lane," Mount Marty head women's basketball coach Tom Schlimgen said in a press release. "To have a local player who has had the athletic and academic successes Ali has had come to our campus is a great benefit to both the school and our basketball program. We are very excited to have Ali become a Lancer."
Kuca is undecided on her major and is the daughter of Doreen (Pottebuam) and Brian Kuca of Dante.
