University of Minnesota swimmer Tevyn Waddell saw her career cut short when COVID-19 forced the cancelation of the NCAA Championships. The Mitchell native still received a pair of All-America honors, though, in the 200-yard backstroke and 100-butterfly.
The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America selected the All-America teams. It adjusted the selection criteria, leading to a larger number of recipients.
Waddell concludes her collegiate career as a five-time All-American, as well as six honorable mentions.
