COLUMBUS, Ohio - Mitchell native Tevyn Waddell helped the University of Minnesota 200-yard medley relay swim team set a new school record at the Big Ten Championships on Wednesday.

Waddell, along with Lindsey Kozelsky, Danielle Nack and Zoe Avestruz, posted a runner-up time of 1 minute, 35.06 seconds to break their record set last year (1:35.55). Indiana won the race with a time of 1:34.16 but the Gophers' time was good enough for an automatic qualification for the NCAA Championships.
