PARKSTON -- For the second time in a week, Class A No. 5 Winner squared off with Wagner and the Warriors came away with a win for the second time. Winner edged Wagner in the finals of the Southeast South Dakota Conference tournament on Saturday, 23-25, 26-24 and 25-12.

Winner (23-4): Morgan Hammerbeck put down 17 kills and come up with 22 digs, while Ellie Brozik had 12 kills and 18 digs and Mackenzie Levi handed out 20 assists. All three players were named to the SESD all-tournament team. The Warriors complete the regular season against Platte-Geddes Monday in Platte.

Wagner (21-7): Abby Brunsing had 15 kills and 22 digs, while Lizzie Tyler added 10 kills and 19 digs and Emilea Cimpl had 31 assists. Brunsing, Tyler and Maesa Dvorak made the SESD all-tournament team. The Red Raiders finish the regular season against Burke Monday in Bonesteel.

PARKSTON -- Winner took down Parkston to advance to the finals of the Southeast South Dakota Conference tournament, 25-16 and 25-21.

Parkston (16-16): Maggie Baumgart had eight kills, while Sydney Wickersham added six kills and Amber Albrecht came up with 21 digs. Izzy Hohn dished out 13 assists and Allison Ziebart pitched in 15 digs. Tiah Holzbauer also had 13 digs.

PARKSTON -- Parkston scored a two-set sweep of Burke during the Southeast South Dakota Conference tournament, 25-18 and 25-20.

Parkston (16-16): Amber Albrecht tallied five kills and 11 digs, C.C. Negebauer had 13 assists and Tiah Holzbauer came up with 15 digs. Allison Ziebart also had 12 digs and Maggie Baumgart had five kills.

Burke (26-5): Taylee Indahl had 17 kills and 18 digs, while Bobbi Jo Wischmann had 9 assists and 5 digs and Adisyn Indahl added 7 assists and 10 digs. The Cougars host Wagner Monday in Bonesteel.

PARKSTON -- Burke captured a pair of double-digit wins to beat Chamberlain in the Southeast South Dakota Conference tournament, 25-12 and 25-14.

Burke (26-5): Taylee Indahl had seven kills and four digs, while Bobbi Jo Wischmann had nine assists and Adisyn Indahl had eight assists.

Chamberlain (15-15): Hannah Anderson had five digs for Chamberlain.

Chamberlain (15-15): Hannah Anderson had 18 digs, seven kills and four blocks, while Makenzy Mutziger had 20 assists and Emma Powers had 22 digs. Jayslee Petersen and Caycee Guinn had five kills apiece.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (11-11): Mariah Jost recorded 18 kills, while Cassidy Slykhuis added 13 kills and four blocks. Trista White pitched in nine kills, while Morgan Schmeidt had 20 assists and Kaylee White had 23 digs. The Blackhawks close the regular season against Mount Vernon/Plankinton on Thursday in Forestburg.

COLOME -- Stanley County tied the match at 1-1, but Colome won back-to-back sets to win the match, 25-17, 22-25, 25-21 and 25-18.

Colome (11-17): Haley Krumpus had 11 kills and seven digs, while Makayla Shippy had 24 assists and 16 digs. Baylie Hoffine pitched in six kills and 15 digs, Elizabeth Yeaman had seven kills and Saydee Heath had six kills and three blocks. The Cowgirls host Kimball/White Lake Monday.
