MADISON -- It was a third set to remember for Dakota Wesleyan University on Tuesday. After winning the first two sets 25-23 and 25-12, the Tigers and Dakota State University rallied until DWU won 33-31 to clinch the sweep on the road.

Neither team could get ahead by more than three points in the third set, with Dannielle Burns serving the game winner as Rachel Johnson committed an attack error. The Tigers needed a mini-comeback in the first set as it won five of the final six points. They carried that momentum into the second set and built an 11-4 lead.

Bridgett Knobbe had a team-high 32 assists to go with 12 digs for the Tigers, while Rebecca Frick added 22 digs and 13 kills. Mallory Cooper added 15 digs and Brittany Berquist put down 11 kills in the win.

DWU (11-3) hosts Mount Marty at 7:30 p.m. today at the Corn Palace.
