Mitchell High School standout Mackenzie Miller announced her commitment to the Dakota Wesleyan University volleyball team on Friday.

The 6-foot-1 outside hitter helped the Kernels win the Class AA consolation championship to finish fifth at this year’s state tournament. Miller is also a two-time all-state selection, being named to the team as a sophomore and junior. She was Mitchell’s first all-state sophomore in 24 years.

Miller racked up a team-high 338 kills to go along with 117 digs and 39 blocks as a senior, while also surpassing 1,000 career kills and digs.
