VERMILLION -- Four players scored in double figures to lift the University of South Dakota women's basketball team to an 85-77 win over Northern Iowa on Thursday.
Tia Hemiller led the way for the Coyotes (5-2) with 20 points and six rebounds, while Nicole Seekamp added 16 points. USD was 32-of-53 from the field and outrebounded NIU (1-5) 36-24.
Madison Weekly had 21 points in the loss.
USD hosts California State University, Fullerton at 2 p.m. Saturday at the DakotaDome.
