USD women hang on to beat North Dakota

GRAND FORKS, N.D.--Nicole Seekamp scored 15 points as the University of South Dakota women's basketball team held on to beat North Dakota 73-70 on Saturday in Grand Forks, N.D.

The Coyotes led 35-24 at halftime and got 11 points from Margaret McCloud, Kelly Stewart and Kate Liveringhouse in the win.

South Dakota (8-4) plays Illinois at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
