CROOKS -- Bath native Tim Reed swept the high all-around and high overall competition at the South Dakota State Shoot on July 14-July 18.
Reed captured the high overall category with 877 points, topping Rapid City’s Foster Bartholow by five points. Oklahoma’s Kya Funkhouser was third with 869 and Iowa’s Evan Ingalls was fourth with 860.
Reed won the high all-around with a total score of 393, edging Oklahoma’s Corbin Grybowski by six points. Bartholow tied Mitchell’s Fred Nagel and North Dakota’s Chris Kittleson for third with 386 points.
Yankton’s Tanner Becker and Funkhouser tied atop the leaderboard in the singles championship, with each scoring 199. Bartholow, Nagel, Kittleson and Reed were among an eight-way tie for third.
Britton’s Tynan Bennett and Belle Fourche’s Alex Voyles won the handicap championship, with each scoring a 98. Fellow South Dakotans Hunter Anderson and Aiken Crowley tied Grybowski with a 97.
