LINCOLN, Neb. – The Dakota Wesleyan University men’s basketball team pulled away late to top Nebraska Wesleyan University 77-70 Saturday in Lincoln, Neb.
DWU has won seven of its last eight games and moves to 5-5 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (12-8 overall) with the win over the Prairie Wolves (9-7, 4-7 GPAC), who topped DWU earlier this season in Sioux Falls.
Junior forward Jalen Voss led the Tigers with a game-high 29 points on 12-of-18 shooting, while adding six rebounds and two blocks.
Mitchell native Jade Miller scored 20 points off the bench for DWU, including making 3-of-4 shots from three-point range. Luke Bamberg had a double-double for the Tigers, finishing with 10 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
As a team, DWU shot 27-of-53 from the field and 9-of-25 from behind the three-point line. The Tigers outrebounded NWU 39-24.

Eric Jackson led the Prairie Wolves with 21 points, while Trevor Johnson added 18.
DWU returns home to play Briar Cliff at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.
