The Mitchell High School girls tennis team picked up a win Monday against Sioux Falls Roosevelt, 9-0 at Hitchcock Park. The Kernels won all nine duals, sweeping through Roosevelt in singles 6-0 and doubles 3-0.

Atlanta Stahle topped Roosevelt’s Kaylee Updegraff 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles while Olivia Huber beat Roosevelt’s Lauren Betsworth at No. 2 singles 6-0, 6-2.

Amber Moller defeated Brielle Baker 6-1, 6-1 in No. 3 singles.

Julia Platt and Sydney Reynolds both went 2-0 at No. 4 and No. 5 singles, respectively. Platt defeated Audrey Baker 6-0, 6-0 and Reynolds defeated Berit Hefti 6-1, 6-0.

Megan Mastel won 6-1, 6-1 in No. 6 singles over Roosevelt’s Allie Weber.

In doubles, Stahle and Huber defeated Roosevelt's Updegraff and Betsworth with a two-set win, 6-0, 6-1.

Amber Moller and Reynolds beat the Roosevelt Baker sisters at Flight 2, 6-1, 6-1, while Mastel and Delaney Degen took down Weber and Maddie Nelson at Flight 3, 6-0, 6-1, to complete the perfect stretch of nine dual wins for Mitchell.

Mitchell travels to Sioux Falls Washington on Thursday.
