Ten Mitchell wrestlers placed and earned All-American honors at the 2016 Brute Nationals on Saturday in Independence, Missouri.

Hadley Wallace, a fifth-grader competing in 119 pounds, and Tucker Vilhauer, a sixth-grader competing at 100 pounds, each placed first at the event, while eighth-grader Tanner Eldeen (185) and first-grader Kale Hofer (40) each took third.

Fourth-grader Connor Degen (113) and fifth-grader Gunnar Stephens (108) each took fourth place, sixth-grader Joe VanOverschelde (119) took fifth place and sixth-graders Appollo Weddell (108) and Spencer Eldeen (80) took sixth and seventh place, respectively. Karter Sibson, a fourth-grader, took sixth in 80 pounds.
