ALEXANDRIA -- Tabor went on the road and recorded 25 hits, guiding it to a doubleheader sweep over Alexandria. Tabor scored all 11 runs in the third inning of an 11-1 win, and then an eight-run third inning sparked its 16-4 victory in the second game.
Preston Nedved finished 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, while Nate Scieszinski hit a double. Kaleb Kubal and Jordan Gall both drove in two runs. Trent Herrboldt added a pair of hits. Kubal also picked up the win, holding Alexandria to an earned run on five hits over the four-inning contest.
Peyton Schroeder suffered the loss, allowing nine runs (two earned) over 2.2 frames. Reggie Slaba tossed the final 1.1 innings, giving up two earned runs.
In Game 2, Riley Rothschadl’s three-hit, three-RBI game paced Tabor at the plate. He and Herrboldt each hit a double. Gall, Kubal and Josh Schmidt all had two hits, while Kubal drove in a pair of runs. Carter Uecker picked up the win, as he allowed three runs (one earned) on a hit and two walks in 1.2 innings.
Ben Laufman gave up 10 runs (six earned) in a two-inning start to suffer the loss for Alexandria. Slaba had a two-hit game.

Tabor (6-6) travels to Vermillion today. Alexandria (5-9) hosts Platte-Geddes today.
