SIOUX FALLS -- Brock Sparks and Kyler Bauder both claimed individual titles at the Sioux Falls Washington Invitational on Saturday.
Sparks won the 120-pound division championship, while Bauder earned the 138-pound title. Sparks defeated Yankton’s Cruz Dyer by a 3-1 sudden victory decision in the title match. Bauder knocked off Watertown’s Jaxson Waugh by an 11-4 decision in the finals.
Brandon Sparks (126), Tyson Degen (160) and Wyatt Winter (285) each took third in their respective weight classes.
The Kernels finished in third place as a team with 165. Brandon Valley (231.5) won the team title, while Watertown came in second with 229.5 points.
