South Dakota hosts Creighton in WNIT

VERMILLION--The South Dakota women's basketball will host Creighton University in the first round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the DakotaDome.

VERMILLION-The South Dakota women's basketball will host Creighton University in the first round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the DakotaDome.

The Coyotes will play in a postseason tournament for the sixth consecutive season. If USD wins, the team will face either Minnesota or Milwaukee in the second round.

USD (26-6) earned an automatic bid by winning the Summit League regular season title. The Coyotes lost to South Dakota State in the conference tournament championship game.
