DENVER-The South Dakota women's basketball team downed Denver 79-33 in a Summit League contest on Friday in Denver, Colorado.
Kelly Stewart led the Coyotes with 13 points, while Margaret McCloud chipped in 12 points. USD went 27-of-52 from the field for 52 percent shooting and held Denver to 11 points in the second half.
Paige Bradley scored nine points to lead Denver (4-19, 2-8 SL)
South Dakota (18-5, 9-1 SL) plays Omaha on Sunday in Omaha, Nebraska.
