On Monday, the Dakota Wesleyan University men's soccer program announced the addition of Luis Pulido to its coaching staff as a graduate assistant for the 2019 season.

Pulido joins the Tigers after serving as the head coach of the Columbus High School girls team in Columbus, Nebraska. Prior to coaching in the prep ranks, Pulido helped with the goalkeepers at York College, where he also played from 2010 to 2012. He was also an assistant for Central Community College for the past two seasons.

Columbus recorded three consecutive winning seasons, two district championships and a conference championship in 2018 under Pulido's guidance.

He was named to the United Soccer Coaches 30 under 30 program. The program chooses 15 men and 15 women from across the country that are making a positive impact in soccer.
