CANOVA-An error by Canova's Jason Miller in the 10th inning sent home the winning run for the Sioux Falls Brewers in a 9-8 on Tuesday.
Canova took an 8-2 lead in the second inning, with Justin Miller, Cole Gassman and Garrett Gassman all driving in runs. However, Sioux Falls scored the final seven runs, including a four-run sixth inning.
Garrett Gassman finished 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Cole Gassman recorded two hits and two RBIs, while also suffering the loss on the mound. He allowed two unearned runs and struck out six in 4 2/3 innings of relief.
Sioux Falls recorded 10 hits as a team, but also was helped by 10 Canova errors.
Canova (4-1) plays at Dell Rapids on Thursday.
