Selland, Sjerven named Summit League co-players of the week

BROOKINGS -- South Dakota State University’s Myah Selland and University of South Dakota’s Hannah Sjerven were named the Summit League co-players of the week.

Selland, a Letcher native, recorded a pair of double-doubles to help guide the Jackrabbits to wins over Drake and No. 20 Missouri State. Against Drake, she finished with 21 points, 11 rebounds and four assists, while recording a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double to go with six assists and four steals against Missouri State.

Sjerven finished with 31 points and 21 rebounds in an 84-68 win over Bradley. It was the first 30-point, 20-rebound game by a Coyote since Wagner native Mandy Koupal in 2003
