SDSU women throttle Oral Roberts on Senior Day

BROOKINGS -- Six players scored in double figures as the South Dakota State University women's basketball team dominated Oral Roberts 96-72 in Summit League action on Saturday in Brookings.

BROOKINGS - Six players scored in double figures as the South Dakota State University women's basketball team dominated Oral Roberts 96-72 in Summit League action on Saturday in Brookings.

Alexis Alexander and Ellie Thompson each finished with 16 points, while Madison Guebert had 13 points and Macy Miller tossed in 12 points. Tagyn Larson and Rylie Cascio Jensen each finished with 10 points.

Miller, a Mitchell native, added seven rebounds and three assists. Myah Selland, a Letcher native, scored seven points in her return to action and Megan Bultsma, a Plankinton native, had four points.

Oral Roberts' Faith Ihim scored a game-high 31 points in the loss.

SDSU (21-5, 10-1 SL) plays at Western Illinois on Saturday in Macomb, Illinois.
