TULSA, Okla. -- The No. 23 South Dakota State University women’s basketball team notched another Summit League win on Sunday, defeating Oral Roberts, 73-61.
The Jackrabbits led 38-32 at halftime, but Oral Roberts slightly cut into their lead in the third quarter. SDSU used a strong defensive fourth quarter to pull away for a double-digit win.
Letcher native Myah Selland paced SDSU with 30 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Paiton Burckhard added 12 points, while Tylee Irwin chipped in 11 points and six boards. The Jackrabbits shot 43.5 percent from the field.
Tierney Coleman scored 22 points and dished out five assists for Oral Roberts. Ariel Walker chipped in 11 points and three steals.
SDSU (17-2, 10-0) plays North Dakota State on Friday in Fargo, North Dakota.
