BROOKINGS - After a bye week, the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits are looking to win their second straight game as they take on Missouri Valley Football Conference foe, the Indiana State University Sycamores, at 2 p.m. Saturday at Coughlin-Alumni Stadium.
Last season, SDSU (5-4) beat Indiana State 24-10. Running back Zach Zenner rushed for 237 yards and one touchdown in that game.
Saturday, the junior running back will be counted on again to lift the Jackrabbits past the Sycamores.
In nine games this season, Zenner leads SDSU (5-4) in rushing with 1,235 yards and 16 touchdowns on 212 carries.
SDSU Quarterback Austin Sumner provides a passing threat for the Jacks. He has completed 163 of 286 passes for 2,076 yards, 13 interceptions and 13 touchdowns this season.
Indiana State (1-8) is looking for its first Missouri Valley Football Conference victory of the season. Leading the way for Indiana State is quarterback Mike Perish, who has thrown for 1,576 yards, 14 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
University of Montana (7-2) at University of South Dakota (4-5) at 1 p.m. in Vermillion.
VERMILLION - The University of South Dakota will look to halt its two game losing streak as the team takes on the No. 10 Montana Grizlies 1 p.m. Saturday at the DakotaDome in Vermillion.
Last season USD (4-5) lost to Missouri Valley Football Conference foe Montana 35-24 in the first game of the season.
Montana scored 19 points in the third quarter en route to winning the game. This year the Coyotes will rely on its defense to keep Montana off the scoreboard. Defensive back Dyllon Knox leads USD in interceptions with three, while defensive back Devin Taverna leads the Coyotes in tackles with 62.
The Coyote offense will be led by sophomore quarterback Kevin Earl. Earl has completed 107 of his 195 pass attempts for 1,259 yards seven touchdowns and six interceptions.
Montana (7-2) is led by redshirt junior quarterback Jordan Johnson, who has thrown for 2,294 yards, 24 touchdowns and one interception.
Augustana College (4-5, 2-3 NSIC) at Winona State (5-4, 3-2 NSIC) at 1 p.m. Saturday in Winona, Minn.
WINONA, Minn. - The Augustana College Vikings will go on the road for the final time this season as they take on Winona State in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference South Division matchup Saturday.
Augustana and Winona State last played in 2010. Augustana won the game 17-0 in Winona. The Vikings (4-5, 2-3 NSIC South) are coming off a 24-7 loss. Winona State lost 51-44 last week to Southwest Minnesota State.
Winona State is led by running back Chichi Ojika, who has rushed 161 times for 1,019 and eight touchdowns.
Augustana is led by quarterback Trey Heid. Heid has completed 141 of 251 passes for 1,416 yards and nine touchdowns.
Minnesota State University (9-0, 9-0 NSIC) at University of Sioux Falls (5-4, 5-4 NSIC) at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sioux Falls.
SIOUX FALLS - The University of Sioux Falls will look to win its final home game of the 2013 season Saturday as the Cougars play No. 1 Minnesota State University in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matchup at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Saturday will be the second matchup between both teams. MSU won the only game of the series last season 27-13.
Sioux Falls is led by running back Nephi Garcia, who has tallied 1,068 yards and 10 touchdowns on 200 carries. The USF defense is ed by linebacker John Batinich, who has 77 tackles and three sacks.
Senior quarterback Jon Wolf leads the Mavericks. He has thrown for 1,425 yards and 13 touchdowns, while rushing for 764 yards and 11 touchdowns this season.
Northern State University (3-6, 3-6 NSIC) at Minnesota-Crookston (2-7, 2-7 NSIC) 1 p.m. Saturday in Crookston, Minn.
CROOKSTON, Minn. - The Northern State University football team looks to earn its first victory in three tries Saturday when it takes on Minnesota- Crookston in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matchup 1 p.m. Saturday.
The Wolves met Minnesota- Crookston last season in Aberdeen. Northern State came away with a 52-20 win.
Saturday the NSU offense will be led by Jared Jacobson. The quarterback has completed 148 of 306 passes for 1,606 yards, 16 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Jacobson has a team leading 454 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
Defensive back Blaine Schmidt leads the NSU defense with three interceptions.
Minnesota-Crookston is led by quarterback Kyle Larson. In nine games this season Larson has completed 106 passes for 1,192 yards, nine touchdowns and nine interceptions.

Presentation College (4-4) at Menlo College (3-5) 2 p.m. CT Saturday in Atherton Cali.
ATHERTON, Cali - The Presentation College Saints look to end its regular season on a high note when they take on Menlo College in a nonconference game Saturday.
Presentation is coming off a 49-41 loss to the University of Jamestown, N.D. last week.
Menlo fell to Midwestern State, 64-7 last week.
If the Saints are to win they will need big performances from quarterback Stephen Braswell. In eight games Braswell has completed 131 of 257 passes for 1,732 yards, 21 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
Menlo is led by quarterback Wade Hawkins, who has thrown for 1,048 yards, 11 touchdowns and four interceptions.
South Dakota School of Mines & Technology (5-4) at Nebraska-Kearney (3-6) noon Saturday in Kearney, Neb.
KEARNEY, Neb. - The South Dakota School of Mines & Technology plays its final game of the season Saturday on the road against Nebraska-Kearney.
S.D. Mines and Nebraska-Kearney played last season. The Hard rockers lost 59-7.
Saturday S.D. Mines will look to quarterback Evan Sanders and defensive back Traevon Beddard to lead the way.
Sanders has completed 141 of 237 passes for 1,621 yards, 16 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Beddard has a team leading four interceptions and has recorded 23 tackles.
Nebraska-Kearney is led by running back Romero Cotton.
Cotton has rushed 138 times for 625 yards and three touchdowns.
Western New Mexico University (2-6) Black Hills State University (1-7) 1 p.m. CT Saturday in Spearfish.
SPEARFISH - The Black Hills State University Yellow Jackets will look to capture their second win of the season Saturday against Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference foe Western New Mexico.
The Yellow Jackets are coming off a 48-45 win over New Mexico Highlands last week. Western New Mexico is currently on a two-game losing streak.
BHSU beat Western New Mexico 36-24 last season.
The Yellow Jackets are led by quarterback Ward Anderson, who has completed 189 of his 343 passes. In eight games Anderson has thrown for 2,114 yards 14 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He has also run for 293 yards and seven touchdowns..
Western New Mexico is led by quarterback Mitch Glasmann. Glasmann has tallied 2,275 yards and 20 touchdowns this season. He comes into the game averaging 284.4 passing yards per game.
