BROOKINGS (AP) - The South Dakota State University athletic director has been named to the newly formed NCAA Division I Council.
Justin Sell is one of 40 people appointed to the group, which is made up athletic directors, conference commissioners, faculty athletic representatives and other administrators, as well as two student-athletes.
The council will meet for the first time next month.
Sell says he appreciates the opportunity to represent SDSU, the Summit League and the Missouri Valley Football Conference.
