SIOUX FALLS-For the fourth year in a row, Rapid City Post 22 won the Class A Legion baseball state championship.

Post 22 used a six-run first inning to down Renner Post 307 12-2 in seven innings in the title game on Sunday in Sioux Falls.

Riley McSherry earned the win on the mound for Post 22, allowing two runs (one earned) on nine hits with four strikeouts in seven innings pitched.

Erik Petry went 4-for-4 with five RBIs to lead the Post 22 offense, while Matt Vickers had two doubles and three runs scored.

Cayden Veland took the loss for Renner, giving up six earned runs on four hits in 2/3 innings pitched.
