Mitchell Republic's 2022 football livestream slate begins Friday night

Area games and all four Kernel road games will be broadcast at the Mitchell Republic's website

MITCHELL -- The Mitchell Republic will debut its fall high school football livestreaming coverage Friday night in conjunction with the start of the season.

The Mitchell Republic’s Gridiron Spotlight schedule opens with Hanson at Howard on Friday, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. Coverage will begin at 6:45 p.m., available exclusively to Mitchell Republic members.

It will be the first of six streams scheduled this season, which will include all four Mitchell High School away games during the regular season. The complete schedule will include:

  • Friday, Aug. 19: Hanson at Howard
  • Friday, Aug. 26: Platte-Geddes at Parkston
  • Saturday, Sept. 10: Mitchell at Pierre
  • Friday, Sept. 16: Mitchell at Aberdeen Central
  • Friday, Sept. 30: Mitchell at Spearfish
  • Thursday, Oct. 20: Mitchell at Brookings

Each of the streams will be produced in conjunction with Mitchell’s Nedved Media radio stations providing play-by-play from its stations -- KORN Radio AM 1490 and FM 101.3, Q107.3 FM, and KORN Country 92.1 FM.

The streams continue a partnership with the Mitchell Republic and Nedved Media that started with Mitchell High School and American Legion Post 18 baseball from spring and summer 2022.
