Mitchell Christian home basketball doubleheader with Bearcats postponed

MITCHELL — Poor weather conditions in the southeast part of South Dakota has led the postponement of the first Mitchell Christian basketball doubleheader of the season on Thursday, Dec. 8.

The Golden Eagles were slated to host Freeman Academy/Marion. The games have been postponed.

According to the Corn Palace's website, the two teams are now scheduled to meet in a doubleheader at the venue on Friday, Dec. 9, with MCS-FAM girls game at 5 p.m., and the boys game at 6:30 p.m.

Both MCS teams are set to be in action next at Dell Rapids St. Mary on Tuesday, Dec. 13, with the girls varsity game at 6 p.m. and the boys to follow at 7:30 p.m.
