Loaded 18-game slate unveiled for DWU Classic on Feb. 10-11 at Corn Palace

Three No. 1 teams are scheduled to play in Mitchell over the two-day event.

MITCHELL — The Dakota Wesleyan University Culver's Classic matchups for Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11 were announced Friday, with 18 games scheduled over two days at the Corn Palace.

It is the 14th year for the boys classic and the eighth edition on the girls side.

Friday's action is highlighted by a matchup of current No. 1 teams in both Class A and Class B, with Hamlin and Viborg-Hurley meeting at 9 p.m. It is set to be preceded by Howard and Jones County at 6 p.m., and Sioux Falls Christian and St. Thomas More at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Class B powers No. 4 Lower Brule and No. 2 White River will play at 7:30 p.m., followed by Hamlin and Class B No. 1 Aberdeen Christian as the nightcap at 9 p.m. Class A No. 5 St. Thomas More and Mount Vernon/Plankinton will play at 3 p.m., Platte-Geddes will face Hanson at 4:30 p.m., followed by Bridgewater-Emery and Gregory at 6 p.m.

Tickets for the two-day event will be sold at the door only each day. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students, and children age 5 and younger get in free.
