Carly Haring set to host high jump skills camp in June

The former Mitchell Kernel and current University of South Dakota high jumper will a high jump skill camp on June 4

MITCHELL – Former Mitchell Kernel and current University of South Dakota high jumper Carly Haring is set to host a high jump skill camp on Saturday, June 4.

The camp will be hosted by Haring and Mitchell High School track coach Deb Thill at Joe Quintal Field in Mitchell. Haring just completed her sophomore year at USD and last season as a freshman, she recorded the second-best jump in USD women's high jump history at 5 feet, 10.75 inches.

The camp is open to all boys and girls entering grades 7-12 at a cost of $40 per person. The 7-9 grade boys and girls session will run from 10 a.m. to noon and the 10-12 grade boys and girls session will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
