Post 18 blanks Premier West (Colo.) at Hladky tourney

GILLETTE, Wyo. -- Brady Brosz threw a four-hit shutout as Mitchell Post 18 knocked off Premier West, 8-0, in five innings at the Hladky Memorial Tournament on Saturday.

Brosz struck out 10 batters and issued just one walk in 84 pitches. Mitchell’s bats produced 11 hits to complement Brosz’s pitching performance.

Jake Helleloid finished with three hits and an RBI. Austin Kerr recorded two hits and two RBIs, while Ethan Price also notched two hits. Jonah Schmidt and Isaac Rew each drove in runs. Ryan McGinnis and Parker Bollinger both had a hit, while McGinnis knocked in a run.

Mitchell (10-8) plays Gillette at 7 p.m. tonight in a semifinal contest.
