YANKTON - Mount Marty College has hired Parkston native Logan Wagner to be the school's men's and women's golf coach, starting in the 2018-19 season. She will also join the Lancers' women's basketball coaching staff as an assistant.
Wagner graduated in 2017 with degrees in business and accounting. She's currently a graduate assistant with the men's and women's golf programs at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska.
As a golfer, Wagner won six tournaments, placed in the top-10 in the conference all four seasons and has 12 of the 15 lowest golf scores in Mount Marty history. She was also a three-time all-GPAC player in basketball, scored more than 1,000 points and broke the school's 3-point record. As a senior, Wagner was MMC's Female Athlete of the Year in 2016-17.
"I am very excited to be returning to the campus and community that did so much to serve me as a student-athlete," says Wagner. "I look forward to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, and will work hard to help the golf programs and women's basketball program reach their max potential."
