PARKSTON - James Boehmer scored the game-winning run on a passed ball as the Parkston Mudcats edged Dell Rapids PBR 6-5 in a non-league amateur baseball game on Tuesday in Parkston.
Boehmer led off the bottom of the ninth inning with a single and came around to score after the bases were loaded.
Parkston's Jake Weber earned the win on the mound in relief of starting pitcher Dylan Mogck. Weber allowed one earned run on on hit in three innings pitched.
Cole Donahue and Matt Malloy each went 2-for-4, while Brady Nolz and Jeff Harris each had a double in the win.
Parkston (14-6) play Platte at 8 p.m. on Thursday in Platte.
