TABOR-The Parkston/Ethan baseball team handed Bon Homme/Scotland its first loss of the season with 6-4 win in extra innings on Monday in Tabor.
Parkston/Ethan scored three runs in the top of 10th inning to break a 3-3 tie and a Bon Homme/Scotland rally fell short after one run in the bottom of the inning.
Alex Scott picked up the win for P/E. Scott had seven strikeouts in six scoreless innings pitched, allowing two hits. Jake DeLange picked up the save for P/E, while starting pitcher Jesse Grosdidier allowed three unearned runs.
Blake Bietz and Jordan McKean each had two-run doubles in the win for P/E.
For BH/S, Bryce Scieszinski took the loss, giving up three unearned runs off two hits in two innings pitched. Starting pitcher Chase Kortan allowed three runs, one earned, off two hits in eight innings pitched with nine strikeouts.

Kortan had a triple and Scieszinski had two hits in the loss.
Parkston/Ethan (4-1), won the JV game 3-2 and plays Turner-Hutch at 6 p.m. on Wednesday in Freeman. BH/S (4-1) plays Wagner/Avon on Thursday.
