DELL RAPIDS-The Rocky Run Golf Course welcomed 105 golfers across 18 teams to compete in the Dell Rapids Boys Invitational on Monday.

Parkston stayed in the top 10 by one stroke as its score of 369 resulted in a ninth-place finish. The Trojans were helped by consistent play from their entire team as Quinn Bormann, Carter Kalda and Matt Ehler carded a 92 and Braden Bruening shot 93.

Ehler's 43 on the front nine was Parkston's best nine-hole score of the day, while Bormann came close with a 44 on the front nine. Kalda carded a 46 on both the front and back nine.

Chamberlain shot a 385 to take 14th, highlighted by Cameron Caldwell's stellar performance. Caldwell tied with Noah Puetz, of Sioux Valley, and Sisseton's Nate Nielsen at 75 shots for the second best score of the day. Caldwell shot a 36 on the front nine, followed by 39 to end his afternoon.

However, Drayton Priebe's 84 was the only other Cubs' score less than 100.
