Northwestern College announced Mitchell senior McKenzie Norton has signed a national letter of intent to continue her track and field career.
Norton heads into her senior season in the Kernels' all-time top 10 in the 100-meter dash and (13.0 seconds) and the pole vault.
"We are excited to have McKenzie join our Red Raider track and field team," Northwestern head coach Scott Bahrke said in a press release. "She is a talented sprinter who possesses great work ethic and an infectious smile. McKenzie will add depth to our sprint crew for the next four years."
Norton plans to major in elementary education.
