Koel also explains the types of spinners, the Colorado blade and the willow leaf blade, and which one may work best for you. "The difference being how much water they move, how much flash they give off and how much sound they produce," he says.
Koel's favorite buzzbait? That's the Northland buzzard bait, especially (and only) in white.
He also explains his technique for top-water baits and how bass react to vibration and sound in the water.
