The holiday weekend will be a quiet one with seasonable temperatures, light wind, and mostly cloudy skies. To start off the weekend, here's Friday's forecast:
Saturday will bring a few more clouds, but temperatures will stay seasonably warm in the 20s and 30s.
The wind will not be a problem this weekend. Here's a glance at what the wind will look like Saturday afternoon.
The wind will stay calm through Sunday, with another nice day in the forecast. However, the next chance of snow will start to move into the region late Sunday afternoon.
Late on Sunday, the next system will begin to creep into the region from the south. Still ironing out the exact details, but we are watching for winter storm impacts on Monday. Knowing many have Monday off of work due to New Year's Day, this may come a concern. Stay tuned to the StormTRACKER team for updates.
