Northland Outdoors Forecast: Another round of showers late in the weekend
The breeze will continue Friday and into Saturday for parts of the region.
The strong winds will persist for the region as our April storm system slowly pushes eastward.
Sunshine will return as the clouds and snow push eastward on Friday.
Saturday will be milder in terms of temperatures. Highs will return to the 40s and 50s with some 60s in the central Dakotas.
Saturday will be dry, but breezy again. Winds will pick up out of the south and southeast for both North and South Dakota. This will be a warmer wind for some as highs could reach into the 60s as mentioned above for the central Dakotas. Winds will be lighter for central and eastern parts of Minnesota on Saturday.
We will see our next chance of precipitation returning to the area on Sunday. Showers move through the Dakotas and up into northwestern Minnesota throughout the day. There is a chance of some of the precipitation to turn to rain mixed with snow in the Red River Valley.
The clouds will increase and as the precipitation moves into the region, our temperatures may not be as warm as Saturday.
