LAKE NORDEN-The North and South teams split Monday's American Legion All-Star game doubleheader on Monday.

North won the first game 4-1 and the South took game two 2-1.

Derek Soukup, of Wagner, finished 2-for-3 and drove in two runs for the North in the first game. Brother, Drue, was the winning pitcher. He pitched one inning and walked two batters, while allowing the lone run. He also scored a run.

North's pitching staff combined to allow just one hit.

Colome's Reed Harter had the lone hit for the South in the first game.
