SEWARD, Neb.-The Dakota Wesleyan University men's basketball team pulled out another close win, as the No. 15 Tigers outlasted Concordia 84-80 in a Great Plains Athletic Conference game on Saturday in Seward, Neb.
DWU (15-6, 7-4 GPAC) used a 10-0 run late in the second half to pull away and a late Bulldog rally fell short. DWU is tied for third place with Dordt and Midland in the GPAC standings.
Senior Trae Bergh continued to lead the Tigers and finished with 29 points, while Trae Vandeberg added a career-high 19 points and eight rebounds. Jade Miller chipped in 16 points.
The Tigers finished 28-of-53 from the field and 15-of-24 from the foul line.
Concordia center Chandler Folkerts finished with his fifth straight double-double, scoring 23 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. The Bulldogs shot 32-of-68 from the field, 6-of-23 from deep and 10-of-15 from the line.

DWU takes on GPAC-leading and No. 4 Briar Cliff University at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.
