PLANKINTON-Mount Vernon/Plankinton point guard Payleen O'Day signed on to play women's basketball for Mount Marty College next season on Friday.

The 5-foot-5 senior and Plankinton student has been a leader for the Titans, which have won the Region 5A championship the past two seasons. O'Day has been named the Custer Battlefield Highway all-conference team three times and to the Southeastern South Dakota all-conference team twice. She averaged 10 points, three assists and four steals a game as a junior.

O'Day plans on majoring in nursing at Mount Marty College.
