Moller leads Kernel cross country in Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS -- Lucas Moller paced the Mitchell High School cross-country team at the Sioux Falls cross country invitational on Thursday.

The Kernels placed 12th in the 12-team field, while Sioux Falls Lincoln won the invite. Lincoln’s Zeb Mendel (15:52.87) barely took down Aberdeen Central’s duo of Josh Martin (15:54.17) and Daniel Street (15:55.33).

Moller placed 68th in 18:20.96, while Nate McCormick (19:08.84) took 88th place. Max Hart (20:01.42) earned 97th place for the Kernels.

Mitchell races in the Eastern South Dakota Conference championships on Oct. 10 in Aberdeen.
