Ryan Mix scored the game’s only goal on Saturday, powering the Dakota Wesleyan University men’s soccer team to a 1-0 Great Plains Athletic Conference win over Briar Cliff (Iowa) at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex.
The Tigers finished with two shots on goal in the win. Grant Pierce assisted on the game-winner, while Hunter Birozy saved all nine of Briar Cliff’s shots. The Chargers held a 23-2 advantage in shots.
DWU (3-7-1, 2-6-1 GPAC) plays Presentation College at 2 p.m. Sunday in Aberdeen.
