The Mitchell White teener baseball team split a doubleheader against Pierre on Monday at Drake Field in Mitchell.

Mitchell won the first game 7-4 and dropped the second game 16-14.

In the first game, Ethan Price earned the win on the mound for Mitchell. Price pitched 5 2/3 innings and had five strikeouts, while Kade Neugebauer picked up a save with 2 innings pitched.

Ty Neugebauer went 2-for-2 with two RBIs, while Parker Bollinger and Masen Thompson each added a hit in the win.

In the second game, Bollinger went 2-for-3, Kade Neugeabuer went 3-for-4 and Jake Schumacher went 2-for-2. Five different Mitchell pitchers threw at least an inning in the loss.
