YANKTON-Mitchell White failed to get on the board on Friday at the Yankton tournament. Sioux Falls East held it scoreless as Mitchell fell 10-0 in five innings.
Mitchell only amassed three hits as Sioux Falls used three extra-base hits to score in all but one inning. Sioux Falls added three runs in each of the final three innings, too.
Gavin Soukup took the loss as Sioux Falls recorded seven runs (four earned) on six hits in his four-inning start. Porter Geppert finished a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate for Mitchell, while Colin Stange had the team's only other hit. Lincoln Bates also drew a walk.
Mitchell continues the Yankton tournament Saturday.
