SIOUX FALLS-Mitchell White dropped a pair of teener baseball games to Sioux Falls East on Friday.
Mitchell lost 8-4 in Game 1, then allowed four runs in the final inning to lose 5-4 in a five-inning game to end the day.
In the first game of the doubleheader, Mitchell was outhit 8-7. Mitchell scored two runs in the third, which was highlighted by Tanner Puetz hitting an RBI single.
Landon Waddell and Dylan Soulek each went 2-for-4, while Soulek also drove in a pair of runs. Camen Max and Peyton Schroeder each added a hit, as well.
Waddell suffered the loss, giving up three runs (two earned), five walks and four hits in 3 1/3 innings. He struck out six batters.

Mitchell's offense started quickly in the second game as it scored three runs in the first two innings, but it managed just one run in the final three frames.
Connor Hohn, Schroeder and Waddell accounted for Mitchell's three hits. Hohn and Schroeder both drove in a run.
Schroeder received the loss. He gave up an unearned run without recording an out in the fifth. Soulek struck out nine and allowed four runs (three earned) in his 4 1/3-inning start.
Mitchell White (9-19) hosts Yankton for a 4 p.m. doubleheader on Monday.
